Francesca Bing

A violin graduated at Florence Conservatory under M.o A. Tacchi, Francesca Bing took part to masterclasses with Maestros C. Romano, P. Vernikov and M. Skampa.

         She has been a member of the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, also as a concert master, and she took part to the "Mimesis" course at the Accademia del Maggio Musicale in Florence, again as a solo violinist.

She plays in many orchestras both in her native Tuscany and in other Italian regions; among them with Camerata strumentale Città di Prato, Orchestra da camera “Gams Ensemble”, Opera Fiesole, Orchestra internazionale d’Italia, Città Lirica di Pisa, Orchestra del Teatro Giglio di Lucca, Orchestra Regionale Toscana,…

Moreover, she has a concert activity as a chamber musician in duo piano and violin.

She obtained her diploma in Music Therapy at the Centro Toscano Musicoterapia on June 18th, 2000, and she immediately started her activity as a music therapist at schools in the Florence neighbourhood. At the same time, she worked at the Studio "Il Piccolo Principe diventa grande", creating a music therapeutic path for children with learning difficulties, handicaps and pathologies.

She took part to many meetings on music therapy and handicap, also as a lecturer on the subject of disabled children's schooling. 

She took part to a Master at NYU, at the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Department, being highly appreciated for her work; as a consequence, a joint project has been elaborated with New York University, for the benefit of disabled children in Perù.

Since 2002 she is the music therapist of the Associazione Trisomia 21 in Florence, and she has been appointed by the neuropsychiatrist with the educational and cognitive path of children and teenagers. She has also her own professional activity in a private studio.

Since February 2004 she was admitted to the Order of Italian Professional Music Therapists (A.I.M.)

She is the Artistic Director and founder of MAM (Music Artists Management), developing career and performance opportunities for young concert artists, cooperating with orchestras and theaters in Italy and abroad.

She cooperates with important national and international theaters and festivals (like Maggio Musicale Fiorentino), creating a net of paths and programs throughout the whole classical music literature.
